Well we’re now firmly entrenched in the post E3 slump so big gaming news and announcements will be slow for a while. This is probably a good thing since, like me, you probably need some time still to digest what we have already heard. Still this is a billion dollar industry and it never shuts off completely so here is your latest weekly gaming wrap up.
Game Releases
Lollipop Chainsaw – Metacritic Score 69
Lollipop Chainsaw is one of those games for which I think its metascore is not helpful. Its not a great game, its not a game for everyone but for those people that fall within its niche target it will be worth the time. Graphically its sub-par and its too short (4-6 hours though because it’s meant to be replayed) but fans of the Hack n Slash genre will be sasiated by its quick and responsive combat and its wacky premise is unique and often funny. For a game like this I wont recommend that you avoid it, rather my advice is simply wait a while and pick it up at a bargain when you can.
