News from Computex in Taipei with Intel will be dominating for the next few days. Lenovo’s Intel powered phone, 14 new Ivy Bridge chips, 3rd gen Ultrabooks and Windows 8 reaches the next level.

  1.  Lenovo LePhone K800 launches, officially brings Medfield to China – Lenovo and Intel out the Medfield powered K800 smartphone with a 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, Android 2.3, a 4.5-inch 720p display, an 8MP rear camera and 16GB of internal storage.
  2. Intel details 14 dual-core Ivy Bridge processors ahead of Computex – Intel shows off the rest of the Ivy Bridge range that we were waiting for, with a total of 14 different dual core CPUs
  3. Intel to show third-gen Ultrabooks at Computex, makes USB 3.0 or Thunderbolt a necessity – Intel is set to show off a massive amount of Ultrabooks in conjunction with many manufacturing partners  at Computex.
  4. Microsoft’s Windows 8 Release Preview looks to hit on May 31 – The last stop before the full release candidate of Windows 8 is coming on May 31. The public ‘Release Preview’ is expected to hit even more screens than the Developer or Consumer  previews before it.
